Consultations
In Person with Your Child and You
Cece will meet you in your home, or agreed upon space. These consultations are generally 1 1/2 hours long. You are provided with an informal educational assessment that will offer an in-depth understanding of how the neurological system is operating. Functional, practical insights are provided that translate into remarkable progress. Cece provides you with a program that will enhance the continued progress of your child. The suggested activities, to be done daily––spread throughout the day, generally take 12-22 minutes. On-going consultations with Cece are suggested once every 3-4 weeks until the goals and sense of well being within the child are reached. More frequent consultations are available; however, Cece’s emphasis is on empowering the child and his/her parents, teachers and therapists so that the suggested activities can be accomplished independently. For Professionals:
Cece is available to consult with teachers and therapists who may be in need of further insights into the work they are already doing with a child. This can be done in person or by phone. Call (775) 826-5035 to set up a consultation.
• $80 per hour ($120 for 1 1/2 hours)

Phone Consultations:
After obtaining Cece’s new book, Movement Based Learning for Children of All Abilities (2006), or attending one of the Movement Based Learning workshops or courses, a person can consult with Cece on the phone for further information, clarification and/or to further develop a program for your child. Video Consultations:
Sometimes people find it useful to send Cece a video of their child so that a common ground can be reached more quickly. It is often helpful, though not always necessary, for Cece to see the child on video. This facilitates the creation of a program for your child. The video is generally 20 minutes in length and conversation is had with Cece prior to sending it; this gives a framework of what to include in the video of your child. Subsequent to viewing the video, a phone consultation offers refinement of information for the parent or professional and a series of movements and activities is developed that is designed to neurologically address your child’s educational needs.
